ALWAYS present a united front. :D

My son Tim is a college senior who commutes to school from our home. He's a great kid, and a good housemate - very quiet, does his fair share of chores, and allows me to avail myself of his height (he's 6' 2") for things like changing ceiling fixture light bulbs and filling the bird feeder (which hangs from a tree branch out of my reach). He spends most evenings downstairs working on his computer in the family room, which is next to the laundry room.

*DH gets up and walks past the stairs*

Me: Honey, could you holler at Tim for me?
DH: Sure... what'd he do?
Me: Nothing yet; I just want him to bring the clean laundry upstairs. But thanks for the support!

If we could get from kid stage to helpful stage without going through the snarky teens....
