Good morning friends. I can't believe it's Wednesday already. How can I slow down time for just a bit.

The elephant wall hanging was a big hit at Show and Tell yesterday. So was the hexie quilt. Today I will work on the row I started, I think.

We have had quite the weather here. On Sunday we had a snow storm and last night it rained like crazy. Not much snow is left after that. We may get a whole gammit of weather this week. I don't know what the rest of my week is going to be like. I may work Friday not sure yet. I may attend a craft show on Saturday with a friend.

Anywho, have a great day friends. And don't forget to smile.

Good morning everyone!......I'd love a spin in the dryer, if I could be wrinkle free and 3 sizes smaller......I'd settle for semi wrinkled and 1 size smaller.....sigh....

Well the weather gurus were right for a change, we hit 64' yesterday! It didn't quite felt like it as it was windy, but I'll take it....it felt and looked wonderful on these old bones!

Did clean some windows, I'm happy.

Fooled with fabric.....gonna drive me nuts till I get it just like I see it in my head.....trouble is, it's an old head and full of cobwebs!

Hope y'all have a great day, hugs to all!

Good Morning Everyone,

DH got up this morning and I woke up. He went to the bathroom, and left for his room on the other side of the house. Next thing I know it's an hour later. Apparently I wasn't ready to get up.

It's been beautiful the past few days. We grilled hot dogs for dinner last night. Tonight the kids are coming, cubed steaks are going into the crock pot later on today. That will leave us with pretty much the rest of the day free.

Monique, I knew your show and tell would be a hit. Anita, you could come and clean some windows here, but the grands will just finger print them back up tonight.

DS#2 has today off. He's ready for a day of rest. He volunteered to go in Monday. He's kind of frustrated that he can't swipe his card to check in. I'm wondering if the magnetic strip has been damaged.

I'm going back into my sewing room. I'm recalculating the width on the attic window pieces for another Mt. attic window. I'm going to have to cut more of the panel too so it will fit on the wall. That room drives me crazy sometimes! The window isn't in the middle of the wall. Hopefully with a couple of little tweaks I can make it work.

Well time to get busy. Have a wonderful, creative day everyone. Prayers for those in need.

I was looking at Christmas projects today on M* but didn't see anything that reached right out and grabbed me but I did see the cardinal panel with the window panes and it gave me an idea. I am making quilted window covers for the windows and I have a small window behind a door in the living room that needs covering and wouldn't birds behind panes be wonderful for the winter. We might even close that door that is opens infront of it and look at the wall hanging.
Monique, of course you got ooohs and ahhs for the elephant. You are an oooh and ahhh kind of sewer.
Suppose to be a great week for weather. I've been out everyday looking for the Christmas tree of my dreams this year. So many little white pines but yesterday I spotted a bushy hemlock that might do. Its only 5 ft high and I was hoping for 6 so today I will look again. 40 acres of woods is a lot of ground to cover.

Morning all. Monique you always do wonderful projects of course they wee a hit. Day off today . Working on quilting the cornucopia. Last night we had a bear rattle our garbage and knock the can over. Too close for comfort. We live in a small community of about 35 mobile homes. Most folks are mid to elderly age. We have had sightings on both sides of our park the ball field ( about 500 feet from park entrance), the bashakill which borders park land, the town water shed ( 1/2 mile from us) and the elementary school 3/4 a mile from our park. Too too close. I called park owner and they told me they reported them last yea when another park had issues. DEC told them your in sullivan county deal with it!!!??? They told those residents to put the garbage cans in the sheds, the bear ripped he door off the shed to get o the garbage. My son has to park across the park in community parking and goes to work midnight and 3 am. scary stuff. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning Monique and everyone. I am not sure why I woke up so early grrr. My granddaughter has been with me well over a week. Poor kid got sick before Thanksgiving and didn't really enjoy that day at all. . Her coughing is better and she has a couple of days of antibiotics in her so I think I can send her home today and she can go back to school. My computer is finally fixed and I can go pick it up and get off this slow laptop. I have a few other errands and then I hope to clean house and maybe do a little sewing.
Have a great day!

Well the dentist says he thinks my problem may be a cracked root but it doesn't show on the X-rays. He changed my bite a little to see if that helps and it has. I'm using my night guard and a medicated mouthwash. It feels quite a bit better today. About ready to layer a quilt that I got from Craftsy as a kit. It is a batik called River Rocks.

Good Morning! It is sure a windy Wednesday. There is a small nip in the air today with the wind blowing. Dh and some of the children are outside getting the leaves raked up. We still have trees that have their leaves on them - several of the trees in the yard and the neighbors' yards are the last to drop their leaves.

I have been organizing fabric. This will be a multi-day project as I want to organize the fabric (done), write what I have and what is needed to finish each project, and I have the usual everyday activities going on. My goal for next year is to use from my stash as much as I can. I have plenty of projects to keep me busy next year.

Have a great day everyone :)

Hello Everyone....Monique I agree with Anita ( Star Lover) .....I wouldn't mind being wrinkle free & one size smaller! Oh, well....I have photos to remember "when" ( I had a great body! LOL )
Went to an appt. today.....Yearly appointment to see the Kidney Specialist. It was a waste of time as far as I am concerned. There's nothing wrong...and he basically was with me 5 minutes...and the cost of that appointment was $185....(20 % of it is a co-pay I have to pay.)
I just got home....I am excited. I think I found a SNOW BIRD home finally....I felt there was a reason for me to keep looking....Anyway, I asked some more questions, and will see what goes on.

I need to get some sewing done.....but first, a nap is in order. I am really tired.
take care everyone!

Officially it's Thursday here but as I haven't gone to bed yet it must still be Wednesday. I did some washing and ironing today. I cut some wadding for placemats and mug rugs as I'm fed up of the quilt I am sewing for DH!! Think I will unpick and start again!!

I went to the Christmas concert at my DGS's school tonight - it ran over by an hour and a quarter!! But it was lovely to watch my DGS perform - the group is called Drumline, there are 8 on the snare drum and 2 on huge kettle drums. They don't play to music but just have the beat which changes tempo. I don't think I am describing it very well but it was brilliant - one very proud Nana and Grandad!!

Tomorrow I have my sewing class - been going there for a couple of weeks. I really enjoy mixing with like-minded ladies. I am hand quilting a wall hanging - never thought I would do that!!

Hugs and best wishes to all.
