Has anyone tried this foot?
Does it really work?

No, but I would like to. I wonder if they make it for Husqvarna / Viking Designer SE Machines ?

That looks pretty awesome. Might be a great Christmas gift. I'm trying to think if I would ever have a need for it. I see gadgets all the time and think, "would I use it"?

That looks interesting, especially if you don't have a serger.

One came with my Brother ULT. IT does work. Not as well as a serger but if you only need occasionally it is a good deal.
the only complaint I had was it didn't cut the fabric as neat as I would like, but that could have been the fabric as well as the attachment

Even if you do have a serger...this looks much easier...seems too good to be true. Would like to hear a review from someone who has actually used it.

I used the attachment for my singer before I bought my serger. It did work and was easier in some regards such as threading but not as nice a stitch and not as versatile as the serger. You had to go pretty slow. After using it for a couple of projects I decided a serger was worthwhile.
