    Minkee Coin Baby Quilt

So one of the gals in our shop (who is a genius) has been in the zone lately. She has THREE new patterns she has come up with that she's letting us share with everyone! This one came about because Minkee is hard to sew on, but if you put a few squares here and there throughout your quilt, you don't get a wonky stretched out quilt, and your baby will love the little spots of super soft Minkee throughout. We love it!

So here's a picture of the quilt finished

And some closeups of how it looks

    Download the printable pattern here!

Very pretty, I do have a suggestion for working with minkee. I like to use it and fleece for machine appliques and I use iron on mesh stabilizer (pressed on with a dry iron on the low setting) on the wrong side. This stops a lot of the streaching and makes it eaiser to work with

It is width of fabric. If you are cutting strips you fold the fabric with the selvedges together, just like it came from the store, and then cut your strips.
