Thanks for the pics. I was browsing to get an update on the storm. It sounds like the worst is going to the N.E.

Beautiful snow. We really have not had any to speak of this year. And now it is late enough that we really don't need to have snow. Although I have seen it snow in May.

I do not miss the snow but I sure do miss those snow days of getting work off. Now I only get bad storm days and 99.9 percent of the time its never bad enough to stay home.

I'm guesstimating we have about 15 - 18" here in the Hartford, CT, area... Getting cold out there as it gets dark; so glad to have a snow day - got some sewing done, and caught up on sleep from Daylight Savings Time clock change!

Not much can be done about bad weather but it's a good excuse for a sew day. As if we need an excuse. LOL

They predicted winds, 8-12 inches of snow, heavy snow and ice on trees causing power outages starting Monday 6PM till Wed 2AM. We got a periodic breeze, snow started Tues mid morning in the form of periodic flurries and by Wed morning we had a grand total of a dusting of snow. You could even still see some of the grass. It is cold though. :icon_stunned:

Hard to measure how much we actually got because of alot of blowing snow. They cancelled school again today to allow for more cleanup, so hubby is outside raking the roof right now :-)
