I was shopping online for some capris and the first three sites charge shipping by the price of the item, not by weight. What the heck is that about?

Know of anyplace that doesn't do this?

Actually, yes, I have heard of this, but can't remember where off the top of my head. So sorry! Must make it hard if you only want one item.

I have seen this way of charging shipping on several sites in the past. Makes no sense at all. I just dont shop them. Cannot remember any at the moment.

Oh, Craftsy did handle shipping that way until they recently changed.

And I already got an email asking if I found what I was looking for.

Macy's looked fair enough. I'll keep looking or get out my serger. lol

I've seen several sites like that. I'm thinking some fabric shops. Maybe hobby lobby but not certain.

I've see it also. In fact many items on Amazon is like that. But usually when buying more than one you only pay the one shipping price.
Other sites will charge you shipping for each item, I won't buy from them. If I'm buying a clothing item or fabric unless it becomes overly heavy I expect to pay one shipping price for all.
