My wonderful wacky sister, the one mamma loves more than me sent me forum mail. She keeps telling me I can sew a zipper in successfully, so she sent me a zipper-foot for my Featherweight, zippers and fabric.

Sandy Navas you are a wonderful friend and I appreciate your gift. My icy gray day has been brightened, thank you!

Nice! You know what your sis Sandy is doing, don't you? She's taking away every excuse you can come up with for not making zippered bags! :icon_giggle:

You used to zip.
You need to zip.
You want to zip.
You like to zip.
You should zip.
You would zip.
You could zip.
You will learn to zip.
You will teach to zip.

(After all, when you get old and feeble and need a busy lap blanket you will be able to help make your own. Mine's already finished just waiting for the day.)

No excuse now for not zipping it shut. Can't wait to see what you make!

I don't see any invisible zippers. You need some to hide stuff.

Sandy sent really good invisible zippers! They are so good you can't see them. LOL

Blue Calla has a free pattern for a small zippered bag. I made 50 for the retreat last year. It's called the Clematis and goes together quite easily.

That Sandy is some kind of special!
