    Accuquilt GO

Just received the rest of my Go dies that were on order. I got the 5 inch square die so I can make charm squares and I got the 2 1/2 in strip cutter so I can cut all the binding at once for my quilts and table runners. I can also use this to make jelly rolls for presents for my friends and family. I'll be playing with them Sunday on my day off! LOVING this Accuquilt GO!

Yes I got one this year and love mine. I also got the the same dies and I don't really have anyone else I buy for that quilts in my circle of family and friends, I am the only one. So guess I will be making jelly rolls for myself. lol I keep eyeing the rag quilt dies and the alphabet one. But the alphabet one is SO!! expensive...

My sweet Mom/Dad gave me $$ for Christmas and I just bought the GO! And the 21/2" strip cutter! I am sure this will not cure my additiction to the Daily Deal and charm packs, and jelly rolls, and ...................but, maybe I will actually cut some of the stash I have and make something out of it too! Super excited to see if this thing really works, so for those of you who got one or already have one - let us know if you like it!

                Re: Accuquilt GO

Ok, I finally found time to use my new go again last night. I cut out (54) 6 1/2 inch squares out of 2 yards of material and it took me 30 minutes and part of that time was cutting material into strips with a rotary cutter before cutting the squares with the Go. I was cutting flannel so I only cut 2 layers at a time. If I were cutting cotton material I could have cut 6layers at a time. I am loving this Go, my hands do not hurt and if I would have done this with scissors I would not be able to bend my fingers today. All in all...I highly recommend this Go cutter, it's fast and easy on your arms and hands.

I received an Accuquilt GO! as a surprise Christmas gift from my Husband. He also ordered some additional dies. I have only tried to cut some scraps to see how it works. I intend to get some "real" cutting next weekend when I am off from work. I would love to hear from anyone about any ins and outs or tips on using it. I am excited to use it.

Ok - I finally quit looking at the box and got mine out - OHHHH making strips is sooo quick and easy! I am so glad that I bought this that I just went and ordered the die for making charm squares. I might actually use some of the fabric I have been hoarding up!
