View Full Version : What is going on!

I have clicked on every post in today's forum and each one is a link to a football game. Does anyone even know this is going on? I love to read the post and learn all the different things that folks inform the rest of us about. This was truely a surprise(not a good surprise). This for me is not a good way to start out 2017. I can't be the only person that does not want to see a football game.

Moderators may be sleeping in this morning. Not surprising that today there are more of these type of posts, so if you see one from a new person, and the title seems inappropriate for a quilting forum, don't click on the link. Another thing you can do before clicking on any suspicious link, is hover your mouse over the link and in the bottom left of your screen the real link name will appear.

So far I've not had any problems with the post I've looked at and no mention of Football. But then I've only looked at about 8 threads

Banished. They are automated posts, you never know when they might show up. Very frustrating.

As each round of games begin new posts appear. There are so many football games scheduled today I expect they will pop up often during the day and into the evening. An then there are the college bowl games tomorrow so there will probably be more.

I too hover my cursor over the title of the thread ... and if only a link shows up that shows "team vrs team" I'll pass it up. I know that it has been brought to the attention of M* ... but no automatic filter has been put in place ... so it will stay posted until the mods can delete it. But it will be hard to keep up with deleting their links with busy game weekends like this. I'm sure it's frustrating for the moderators.

They are all spam.
