It's absolutely adorable. I wish I'd had time to do these things when my girls were younger. Maybe someday, there'll be other babies in my life...

Just the best gift for a little girl. I introduced my first DGD to American Girl dolls about 30 years ago and eventually all 6 of them had one. I made a lot of outfits for the dolls. If I had come across that basket pattern back then I would have been so busy making baskets for my 6 DGDs plus nieces and family friends I would have never began to quilt.

Really cute! I bet that would be a good seller at a craft fair.

This is a cutey for baby dolls of which I have 3. It is available from the vendor for $8.00 paid on Paypal. I think I saw this very pattern in Simplicity or Mccalls pattern book. J's has been having pattern sales lately,so this pattern maybe less expensive. Kathy

I think it would be too, but I'd hate to make several and then be stuck with them!

So cute! Too bad all my cousin's kids are boys. Maybe I can make one for them to carry their pet turtle, or some bullfrogs they caught in the tank, or a few baby chicks from the coop! Or maybe it can carry wood and rocks. Boys!
