Hi all,

I've been asked to make 2 things for Sherry, a basket/ tote type thing to go on a walker and something that will hook to her banister that her chair sits beside... something basically to hold everything that gets 'lost' in her chair (comb, phone, note pad, etc.) 128627

Any suggestions as to where to look?

https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?rs=ac&len=2&q=walker+tote+pattern&0=walker|autocomplete|1&1=tote|autocomplete|1&2=pattern|autocomplete|1 Pinterest has lots of patterns/ideas. I'm thinking that you probably could modify a walker pattern to fit the banister as well.

You can find walker bags by doing a search on Pinterest. One of them could probably be modified for the banister.

Edit: Karen beat me to it with an almost identical post. Great minds think alike. :)

Jean made this and I think it would be great for her chair. http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/show-tell/60797-useful-project.html

I always google patterns I'm looking for, preceded by the word 'free'!

You could make something like this with velcro straps for the bannister/rail.
