Hi All . My mom will celebrate her 100th birthday on November 27th of this year. She is a phenomenal lady. Still does light housekeeping, her crossword puzzles and reads. Our family is small and scattered and all her close friends are now gone. I am asking for cards to be sent to her for her birthday. You can PM me for the address and name and I will be more than happy to give it. Thanks for your consideration. :icon_wave::icon_happy:

My father-in-law will turn 100 on Nov. 23! Sounds like your mom is in better condition than he is, though. : )

thanks for the quick response Allie I will get a card off to you mom. This is a super idea. How wonderful to arrive at 100 and still be active and competent.

She is just amazing for 100 Coleen. Noone can believe it. She worked hard all her life, raised my brother and I pretty much on her own. (since I was 7 and my brother 11) She has no heart problems, never had cancer or any other really life threatening disease. Never smoked. She was a worrier and under a lot of stress. Took care of her mom and dad for years before they passed away. She always watched her weight (more than I can say for myself!) and walked everywhere! I think that is the key to her longevity. God's Blessings to your father in law.

Such a great idea! We did this for my Grandma's 90th birthday. Our goal was to get 90 cards. She got way more than that!

Grandma loved the Gaithers. So, I emailed them and they send her a card, too!. It was so nice. So, if there are any groups or organizations she likes, try emailing them and asking for a card.

I'll PM you. I'm glad for the opportunity to "pay it forward".
