Well, I finished my first week at work. I spend most of my time in a file room filing. I never realized how hard this can be on your legs.....my thighs are aching!!! If I stand or walk to much, my back starts to hurt. I did buy some new shoes so my feet will be more comfortable! But, all in all, I'm having a great time!! And, I never realized how much fun it could be working in a casino!! The people I meet are all very nice!!

WTG! Congrats on making it through your first week. Just think how great your legs will look after a while. :)

Where are you working. Worked with Kenny Wynn at the Mirage in '96-97 when we lived in Vegas. Lots of action going on in Casinos, never a dull moment.

I'm really proud of you taking control of your life! Ruby

Congratulations....it's a good thing to go forward with your life. It will take a little time to get used to working on your feet. What a casino are you working in? I lived in LV for 21 years and loved it. Barb

We are all pulling for you. I can see you took everyone's advice to heart and there you are: STANDING ON YOUR OWN TWO FEET!!

Great going there!! See, didn't you know you were joining a great group when you found us? We are all on your side!!

How happy I am that you are! Been working on my feet for years and years and have to say that good shoes and posture make a difference. And if you have mats or carpet, that always helps a wee bit. There are some shoe companies that make great shoes for a reasonable price that are supposed to be comfy. One of my nurse clients has some - I can't remember the name of them but they originated in Spain.
You're gonna need some fit legs and feet to climb that ladder of success! We're all rooting for you, dear one.
