Guys... I can't go into details...the story is way too long, and complex.....but my daughter, and her family are in real need of prayer support.... I'm sick with worry.... The situation is very serious, and could be volatile..... I'm especially worried about Michael, the oldest of the four boys.... Just pray that this family will be safe... The father is unstable, and in a way, has threatened suicude...

I am sincerely worried about your daughter and her family. Have appropriate services been contacted to help them? If not, a call to the local police and/or church could be of help to know where to go for the assistance needed.

I hesitate to chime in when I might not know what I'm talking about, but my gut is telling me to agree with Sylvia - if threats of violence have occurred, someone must contact the authorities! A church, a shelter, someone - help is available all around.

I'm very concerned. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift this precious family up to you now Lord. We ask that you send your angels to form a hedge of protection around them and that you allow no harm to come to them. You know every detail and need. Please be with them and guide and comfort them as well as send comfort to Sandy in this trying time. Bind the hands of the enemy.
In your name we pray,
Amen

Of course we will pray for your family, but if your daughter has not already contacted local crisis mental health services she MUST do so immediately. And if there is an immediate threat she MUST take the children and leave the situation immediately. Once she reaches a safe haven she can call the police and deal with what must happen.

We see way too many murder/suicides in this country. There is help available - at least in most cities.

Your daughter must not be deterred by Ohio's mental health laws that control what the police and crisis mental health workers can and cannot do. She must persist - perhaps over a long period of time.

Edit: You can also take action on your own if you feel you hear immediate danger when you call. Call 911 and let the police sort things out.

I am with Midge, don't just sit back and pray. Call someone with authority who can step in with emergency professional help. I speak from experience, my sister was suicidal for many years. People like that are not thinking rationally and there's no telling what they will do. Not to scare you more than you are already. Sometimes they hear "voices" telling them to hurt themselves or others. You must act immediately to prevent a tragic outcome. Please keep us posted.

Prayers going out to you and your family at such a difficult time. I certainly hope that you all can find a way to get the help you need. and that your daughter and her family remain safe and are able to reach out to the medical resources that are available in her area. May God bless your entire family and especially your grandsons.

Praying for all. I also agree with the others. Don'the ignore the signs, be persistant and determined when reaching out for help. Lord give the family the strength needed to protect themselves from any danger.
