View Full Version : I'm babysitting a dune buggy

This lady, her two kids and two dogs were coming down the street and the kids buggy (kid sized) battery ran out and asked if she could pull it in off the street. So I said sure put it over here out of the rain. She said her dh is off at 3. It's still here. I'm happy she trusted me at 7:30 pm.

I love my neighborhood.

I mean it's 7:30 and they still haven't come. The little girl was asking if I could fix it and offered me lilikois. So sweet.

Sounds like a nice neighborhood, here a lot of people don't even know their neighbors any more. When we were kids and were all over the neighborhood all the moms knew each other as well as the kids at least. What are lilikois?

Lilikoi are Passion fruit. They make a lot of pies here. It grows wild every where.

It's sour though, so it's treated like lemon. Kids just pick them and eat them.

They were real quiet picking it up. I left a puzzle toy on the car so I hope I get a little drawing thank you. I miss having kids around and can't wait for my grandchild to pop out!
