Ack! A bad day for our new air conditioner to peter out. It's semi-working in that it does remove the humidity but it is still 79 degrees in the house...it's okay if we sit in front of fans.

I'm watching"Lee Daniel's The Butler" on Netflix.

Sorry to hear your A/C isn't working right. Our weather is miserable and all of next week is supposed to be blazing hot. We watched American Ninja Warriors vs The World tonight. Those guys (no gals tonight) amaze me. The European team won by a hair.

Have a good night. I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Whoo Hoo!
The kids are married and THAT is done. They looked good and everyone had a good time, and I didn't go to prison for murder, no matter how justified.
I think my house will return to MY house tomorrow as the in-laws are making noises about leaving.

The fridge is full and the freezer still has wedding food in it. The kids said 150, then the count came back at maybe 100 the night before. I'm thinking maybe 75? Fruit smoothies anyone? I'm going to try a batch of watermelon jelly tomorrow. Who knows, it might be good. Worst case, the 13 year-old goat will get more jelly sandwiches!

The weather broke a bit yesterday and rained on the wedding. Over a month with barely a drop and the one day we wouldn't want any, we get showers! Thankfully, they happened early and late and not too much at the actual wedding venue. I'd have rather had that than the nearly 100 degree weather from last weekend though! So no real complaints from our department!

Standard "waiting on milk to be done' as the in-laws were long-winded @ the dinner table tonight and milking chores got pushed later.
I'm trying to catch up on the happenings around here the last few days. I hope May is improving and that Bob is hanging in there. Nice to see Ima Snickledorfer has made an appearance in our Forum. I hear she's a close relative of another forum friend.

Have a good one!
Hugs, Cathy

This night owl is very wet...storms rolling through here in the wee hours tonight.

Not much going on today. A migraine appeared on the horizon today and I couldn't manage to do much but visit my friend the couch.

Glad the wedding went well. I know you are pooped though...take some time to be kind to yourself. You deserve it.

Hoo-de-hoot friends!

I worked casino until 3:30, with a nagging migraine. I had taken my migraine med earlier in the day and couldn't work on Percocet so just suffered and drank a lot of coffee and water. Now I'm pain free on Percocet but wide awake. Go figure. We finally got some rain tonight so the smoke has cleared off. That's a relief. I suspect my day will be spent mostly sleeping then back for another volunteer night at casino. Thank goodness it's only once a year.

Cathy, glad you made it through the wedding! Connie, feeling your pain girl!

Good afternoon, or good morning to you. Didn't have time to pop in this morning, had a friend over for breakfast. Now I'm headed to the sewing room, finishing the bag with the uncooperative fabric. Hope to get it done today. It's kind of cold here, I've been cold all night and woke up from that several times. It's raining all the time.

Cathy, I'm glad for you that the wedding is over and was mostly nice. And that you don't have to go to prison :D
Sorry about the ac, Kimsophia! And I'm so sorry about the migraines, Connie and Terri. You girls are having a lot of them, that kind of worries me. Maybe you should go see a doctor about those migraines?

Have a nice, relaxed and painfree Monday!

I'm seeing a migraine specialist in September Andrea. Thanks for the love! They worry me some too, but in general they are consistent with the same headaches I have had all of my life. It really only feels different now because I can't take the meds I used to for them. Migraines suck :(

Been to multiple neurologists over the years. My main problem is that I have sensitivities to many of the meds which make life as difficult as the migraines. I have a limited availabilty of meds and most of those I have taken for so long they just don't do any good. My migraines became chronic after menopause. I absolutely refuse to do Botox (I can't imagine what I would do if I had bad reactions to a drug I could not take out of my body). Believe me, I have tried everything but Botox. Migraines suck.

I'm glad to hear that you're going to see a specialist! I really hope he's able to help you and give you new meds that work.

Oh Connie, I'm sorry for that. Migraines really suck, especially when you can't tke any working meds. Is Botox supposed to help with Migraines? I thought it makes muscles unmovable (for lack of a better word). Can't imagine how that should help with Migraines. I wouldn't try the Botox either!
