I cannot remember one bad trip to Canada! It's been a while since I've traveled there but each one was memorable!
It's is a beautiful country.

Hubby is going in August, but I'm not allowed...it's a guys fishing trip. They've gone every years for over 15 years, they love it!

My daughter and her husband just took a brief honeymoon in Montreal. It is one of their favorite cities. They have been there several times. I, unfortunately, have never spent time in your country, except as a child. Then, my family would travel through Canada to go from relatives in Buffalo, NY to relatives in Detroit, MI. So we just drove through. :(

We had a wonderful cruise there in the fall last year! I'd like to go back and spend a week in every town we visited on the cruise. Just the most heavenly places!

I just got back from a trip to Niagara Falls. It was stunning, we had a great time. We went to Niagara on the Lake twice and we would be happy just to go back there again.
The falls area was beautiful but so very crowded with lots and I mean lots and lots of small children. Don't know why but I was surprised at that. Everything was also super expensive. Our hotel was nice with a great view of the falls but huge and very crowded.:icon_neutral: Next time I will be looking for a B&B I think.

Maybe not, I just remembered we have a cruise from Quebec City in Oct but we are staying in a small hotel pre-cruise for 2 nights.:D

Tourist area like Niagara Falls is always expensive. Banff is really high too.

Banff is especially fantastic (Al was sent there every other year the whole time we lived over-seas - as part of his membership in his chemical society . . . )

I'm an oceans and prairie girl. My favorite place in Canada is Prince Edward Island :)

We spend 4-5 weeks in Dwight on Lake of Bays at our cottage every summer. Beautiful and peaceful.
