Forty three years ago today I married my high school sweetheart. We've gotten each other through the good times and the bad, through sickness and health; just like the vows say. It hasn't always been easy but it sure has been worth it. I look forward to spending many more years together as we work through the getting old process. Just thought everyone should know how lucky I am.

By the way, did I mention I was 12 when I got married. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You are not only a lucky lady, you are a very smart lady. It is not too many 12 year olds who are in high school and have sweethearts!

You did beat me to it - I was going to say you weren't 43 years old so how did you manage to get married when you were still in diapers?

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Congratulations!!

My husband and I just had our 30th. Sometimes I wonder how it could be so long. I don't feel 30 years older!

Congratulations to you also. There seems to be a trend here....lots of high school sweethearts sticking it out. I guess we had to be right out of high school to get this many years under our belts.
