I found this on the web and thought it was cute.

You know you are a Quilter If........
There's more Fabric in the House than Food
"Fat Quarters" are not the heaviest part of your body
Your ironing board is always set up but you never iron clothes
You think of your job as an interruption of your quilting time
You pet Fabric
People are always picking threads off you
You can measure a scant 1/4 by eye
"Featherweight" Doesn't mean Boxer
You clean up your sewing room & your family thinks you are moving out

you insist that the floor tiles in your new den are 12" square, so you can lay your quilt top or backing down and square it up perfectly

i knew i was a quilter when:-

i ignored a knock on the door because i was in the middle of a 'tricky bit'
When i stopped thinking...if i win the lottery i will by xxxx car and thought ...i will buy a FAQ, a posh bernina and FABRIC
When i was glad it was raining so i didnt have to garden and could stay at the machne all day
when the cat stopped shouting when he was hungry and started tunneling through fabric to get my attention
When i was half way through my first quilt

When hubby says let's take a road trip and the first thing I do is check for quilt shops nearby.
When you start saving to go to the next Houston quilt show as soon as you get back from this Houston quilt show.

Reading this post and all the comments are extremely humorous to me but I don't think anyone else in the house gets what is so funny. I keep telling everyone that I see quilt pattern squares in everything I look at. It made going to Lowe's shopping for tile interesting for me instead of being too boring. :)

I was walking by one of the vendor booths at the KC Expo yesterday and overheard one of the sales people telling about selling a LAQ to a woman. When they arrived to set it up the woman told them to follow her and she'd show them where to put it. She took them to her bedroom. On the way they had passed bedroom furniture against the walls, here the mattress, there the box springs. Sheets and pillow cases piled at the door. In the bedroom there was only one object - her husband's recently purchased motorcycle.

Guess who won that game?

LOL I qualify for almost all of those! Gives new meaning to the phrase "I resemble that remark!" Thanks of sharing!
