View Full Version : It's not a tick bite

Thank you everyone for the messages. I did see my Dr. today and he doesn't know exactly what kind of bite, but definitely not tick and it is not infected.

I have been looking closely at it and now am wondering if it isn't poison oak or poison sumac, although it is only concentrated on the one spot. Not poison ivy, that is for sure.

Baffling either way.

Glad you had it looked at, happy it's not a tick bite :)

Glad there's no infection and that it's not a tick bite. DH took a tick off me a couple of weeks ago. I don't know which hurt more, the bite or DH pulling it off of me.

There will be a full moon on the 30th of June. If you start to grow hair and feel like howling, then we'll know what it was. :D

I bet it was some sort of spider. I think we're all glad you at least saw the doctor to rule out anything serious.

Glad you had it checked out. I remember when I found a spot .It itched then hurt, Dr had no clue what it was. We though maybe a spider bite. I was put on antibiotics and a heavy duty cream . It got necrotic(sp?) necrosis anyway it did heal eventually but was horrible. That was my concern that it was something like that.

The only thing he said was to take antihistamine for the itching. I do have cream I can put on it because it is still quite itchy and I also put a huge bandage on it so I won't scratch the h*****ll out of it.

AND it is not a Les bite or werewolf either. :icon_rofl:

I'm glad that you had it checked out and everything is okay. Praying that it goes away soon and no longer itches.
