Someone made his way into the gas fireplace in my sewing room. I thought I heard noises while I was sewing this morning.

Is that an armadillo or a possum?

Sorry, Barb, it's a chipmunk.

I do believe he's lost his nuts! Feed the poor little begger, Beth!

This should be a interesting story of how Beth gets the chipmunk out of her fireplace AND her house. A photo documentary, please.

Yes!!! We need video of this! When my mother in law was suffering from cancer, she had several birds come down into her woodstove from the chimney. She called MM and I over, failing to tell us she had also called the fire department!!! When we got there, there were five burley men in her living room chasing birds out the front door!

I thought about that too but I think thats the least of her worries for now. I think I'd have to move. Afterall, a rodent doesn't change his spots, right? Sorry you have to have this but good thing you heard this before you light the stove. Or did you light the stove? I won't judge you.

Sorry people but the window is dirty on the inside and we can not get it apart to clean it-we have tried. The fireplace does not work and we will be having it removed in about 3 weeks but....it does not look like the little chippy can get himself out, he has been trying for hours.

When I was on the mainland taking care of my aunty I had lots of friends. They made the windows dirty too.

Lol. He might be able to make that work. Was it a chipmunk in Caddyshack?
