MM stopped at the shop by his work and picked one up, plus a dozen bobbins.......didn't even cost $13 for everything! I still can't believe the other shop told me it was $106.46......crikey!

Excited to try it out now!

I just used it practicing......I will never buy packaged piping again! So much better than using a zipper foot! I even sewed it between two pieces of fabric and it turned out perfect!!

WOW - I'm EGG-cited for you!

Now that I think of it, I have a piping foot for my HV but have never used it.

It's a wonderful thing! Best part was I didn't pay $106.46 for it!

I thought you were going to sing "Mama's Got a Brand New Bag"! :)

Puhleeze!!!! Mama rarely gets to keep a bag! If I hadn't insisted several times to several people that the mustache bag was mine, it would have been gone a long time ago!

WAIT!!! WHAT!!! How can that be? Is it the exact same foot and same bobbins? How did he manage to find it for such a different price? Is it a no-name brand that just happens to fit?

I'm with Rebecca on this - inquiring minds need to know!!
I was pricing a piping foot for my machine and the lowest I could find was about $28 (which isn't horrible...); I'd be willing to buy generic for a piping foot - no mechanics involved ;)

The bobbins are identical. As for the piping foot, I do not know. None of my feet have markings, this one included. I had never seen one before in my life. As to whether it's generic, I have no clue. All I know is it works, it's solidly made and it makes me happy!!

good thing I wasn't drinking anything. Could be Pat's, but I bet hers is much larger. :)
