Officially it's spring, but flowers open up later at our higher elevation (almost a mile high). It was 82 today; more flowers are opening all the time. So here's a picture of spring. These may be covered in snow come Thurs.-Fri., as they're predicting rain & snow! Our weather can Spring Flowers - Mar. 2015 001.jpgSpring Flowers - Mar. 2015 002.jpgSpring Flowers - Mar. 2015 003.jpgchange quickly along the Front Range of the Rockies. The hyacinths are sooo fragrant.

Re: Colorado Spring Flowers
My Daffodil opened a couple weeks ago. Yes, daffodil, not daffodils. Just one. The tulips are up partway, no blooms yet but I did notice buds on one of the iris today when I was coming home from the store.K is for Karen 😊 Albuquerque, NM..................

Re: Colorado Spring Flowers
JCY, I assume your winter has been mild like ours in Utah. My daffodils, tulips, hyacinth, and grape hyacinth are all up and blooming. Every tree is in blossom. I feel bad for allergy sufferers. This has been a bad one. We are expected to be in the high 70s tomorrow, but will drop back to more normal temps in the 50s on Wednesday and a chance of snow Thursday. Weird weather this year!~Louise

Re: Colorado Spring Flowers
No flowering trees in bloom here yet, but I notice the buds on my crabapple trees are swelling. I started my allergy medicine 2 wks. ago to try to get ahead of the game. I take the generic Claritin, Loratidine. My early tulips on the south side of the house are blooming now. Also some primroses.
