My daughter wants me to make her something for her baby room for her first child, and of course, she saw this fabric that I don't have any more of in a sample block. I bought it in my trip to Montreal and have been looking online to try and find it without luck. I have sent a message to the Montreal store , and am keeping my fingers crossed. Does anyone know this fabric? I think it is from the Henry Glass 1930's reproduction line. I want the border fabric in this pic, the tiny red, white and pink flowers in the white background. Thanks in advance to all of those fabric geniuses out there, you know who you are.lol105737

My 2 cents... I think these look like they are from the Windham Storybook collections.
Happy hunting!

Wow, I looked online for hours and didn't find it. I think that Montreal store is your best bet. Good luck!

Soul60,wow, that looks like a very close match, not exact, but very close. It makes me wonder if its not in that line, but an older version of the pattern. You folks really know your fabrics! I was looking for hours under Henry Glass, but today I will try under the Storybook collections. I am hoping to hear back from the Montreal store also. Thank you all for all of your help, it is really appreciated.

Just checked my stash, I am working on a 30's quilt but sad to say, I have only 1 4" WOF strip of this, if it would help, would be glad to send it to you.

Asta, thank you so much for the offer, but I will need more then that. Do you remember where you bought your fabric? Under what designer it is, maybe there is a label in the outer edge saying who made it? Thanks so much.

Meghan, not sure where I picked it up, while on vacation last Aug. my DH and I stopped at many shops along the way and I picked up 1/4 yd pieces from each shop we were at, so my guess is some shop in PA or OH. On the small piece I have I can see Design #14507 Darlene Zimmer. Hope this helps.

I used these fabrics in a Dresden quilt I made a few years ago and I had the fabric for a long time before I used it. There are so many wonderful lines of 30's repro fabric available now that if you can't find the exact same print you may be able to find one that is almost the same. Good Luck.

I did some quick looking too. The designer is Darlene Zimmerman. It was just missing man in astas post. Hope that helps a little.

I must be blind, because I can't see it. White background, tiny red dots, yellow leaves, red, pink and white flowers...I've seen a lot of similar things to it but not exactly...

Try looking under Aunt Grace Miniatures reproductions for Marcus Brothers. They have some that are pretty darn close.

I bought a jelly roll of the Wyndham Storybook VII fabric at a quilt shop in Beford, VA where my daughter lived. I then found the panel of the story on Ebay which was a real find. Check Ebay under Wyndham Storybook fabric. Good luck!
