Our youngest daughter is quite ill w/a kidney infection. Her middle child offered to go to the grocery store for her, so she rode her bike up there. She called on her way home and told me she had something for me! Over she rides on her bike....they live only a block away. She reached in her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper, so I figured she drew me a picture or something.

Better than that, it was a $5 off coupon for Joanns!! That girl knows me! I let her pick one of MM's candy bars and she is on her way back home now.

It's the simple things that count.

That's a granddaughter who's worth her weight in gold, for more reasons than one. Haha
Sounds like she's a great kid :)

How old is this girl? Probably older than her years! That kind of grandma attention puts her up a rung or two in granma's favorites. I bet. She sounds like a girl who got a big helping of 'family genes'!!

She will be 12 in July. She is a sweet thing, MM's favorite. That is why I knew he wouldn't mind if I gave his candy to her :)
