FYI: Thought you ladies might like this one.....I did :)

I went to Walmart over the weekend with a friend looking for some batting for her to purchase for a t-shirt quilt I am working on for her. While digging through the bags of batting we noticed that one (96x110) was marked for $1.97 and another (110x110) was marked for $2.97. Needless to say, they were not happy when they had to sale them to me at the prices that they were marked. It saved me $20.00 that day because someone did not have the settings on the price gun set correctly and the first number did not print onto the price tag.

Dang, I was trying to hurry so the boss wouldn't see me and I spelled prices wrong, go figure :(

Actually, I think you created a new word...."pricies" are for those "special prices" like the ones on the batting at WM!!!

Great find. Just another case of me NOT being at the right place at the right time.

Have faith Nancy....your day will come. Probably when you least expect it. And Bubby, I agree, pricies should be the new work or at least code word when stores goof on their pricing :)

That is a good tip. Be sure to check that at all stores you go too in the future.

Actually it's the same thing here in Canada...if it's priced lower on the shelf or the package they have to give it to you for the lower price.....at ANY store.

Alana, I think it is actually like that here to at all stores. But you can't always get them to do it. Depends on how big a butt they wanna be I guess.

Wish our stores had things like that(batting, etc).
I once did get a pair of jeans though for 1 penny! The nice guy at the desk kind of looked at the price on the screen and went "oh well" who was I to argue! :D

On Saturday I was in my local Wal-Mart and spied a 5 pack of Fiskars rotary blades for $3.97 - I told my husband that this was a steal....we go to the register and they rang up at $15.97 - they honored the incorrect price of $3.97 - I was blessed!
