would really like to see a tutorial on hand quilting and now want to see one on sashiko

Try searching youtube. I know I saw some assorted ones a while back, just don't remember when or where.

I love sashiko...especially since it has larger stitches. I use pearl cotton and love the texture. It is great on solid colors or when you want your quilting to show on a plain backing.

I'm with Fran, I too saw a couple of tutorials on you tube which were in-depth.

I've been studying hand quilting on YouTube and am finding it so helpful to see a wide variety of technique. That way I'm more quickly finding what suits me. Jenny does sometimes mention she love to hand quilt, so I'd love to see her style too.

Have you looked at big stitch quilting technique? I'm starting with that because of the larger, easier scale and its similarity to sashiko.

Liuxin Newman and Jean Brown have some fascinating techniques.
