So I have 3 Norwich Terriers. I know a lot of other people with Norwich too. One of our favorite things is off leash hikes. So my friend and I had an almost 3 hour hike with 5 dogs between us. My 3 and 2 of her three. The third is too old and fragile.
Anyway, here's a couple pictures from today. I never get tired of seeing them run around enjoying themselves.

So cute and beautiful scenery. Are their coats soft or wiry?

The dogs are having a ball! Love their little faces. My neighbor has four of them and they are a handful despite their small stature! Looks like a great day.

How fun to have them all together and off leash.

Their hair is coarse. There's a soft undercoat. The coarseness and color is on the tips. To maintain it I hand strip their hair every few months. When they're older I'll start cutting it. It will get soft and lighter then.
It's Mount Burdell state park in Novato CA. There's no snow here ever, lol. There was even a view of S.F. Bay from the top.

It's a great place for off leash walks. Dogs are allowed off leash on the fire trails, and there's miles of them. This is the perfect time of year too. The weather is nice, and its not rattlesnake season.

Thanks for the info on their coats. They are such cute dogs. I really like your hiking area, beautiful views. It seems peaceful.
