But it didn't have to be THIS week-end!!!! There are a lot of other week-ends in the winter that could have had this weather.

Very true, or it could have just passed us by this time around. :)

My DS and DDIL are there and just about fed up with the weather so far! Lots of missed school days for the kids. Boston can't move/melt the snow fast enough.
This will be another round of sleepless nights for the DS at the airport while DDIL is home with the 3 grands!
But the kids enjoy walking around the house with the iPad showing me their accumulation outside on FaceTime!
My DH's DGD is due to fly out Monday am for a quick visit here to NC. Wonder if she'll even get out of NY Monday am???
Don't miss all that snow!

I haven't been keeping up with the weather in Orange County but I know we are going to be in serious trouble if those mountains don't get more snow. We depend on it, otherwise we continue to have drought conditions. Our water bills are astronomical.

Rebecca, Life can be funny at times - last year after living in Orange County CA for 12 years DS moved back to MA. He's making up this year for all the snow he missed while in CA.

Those of us in your neighborhood (Utah) will have to brace for a serious drought, also. We have had the most mild winter! It has been lovely, but we will need the water this summer. I hope we get some soon.
