I am thinking you have to be British to get the reference in the title to this post...........however......

Ages and ages ago, a dear friend and I used to write songs. After all these years he was singing one of our songs and someone 'who knows what he is talking about' (quoted as it was said to me today) heard it and liked it. Said something should be done with it.

Who knows how to 'do' something with it, we certainly don't but he uploaded it to sound cloud for now while he tries to get advice. I thought that maybe you might like to hear something I used to do in another incarnation. He has credited me in my face book name Daisy Williams because privacy is an issue for me. The Lyrics are mine, music Ian's.

Anyway, here it is

Daisy, Ian has a wonderful voice, love the song, and surely hope you do something with this song, it's great! Thanks so much for sharing! :D So nice to hear a song, as opposed to a beat and someone monotoning lyrics, and weird body motions, LOL!

YOU ARE WONDERFUL - multi-talented. I started playing the song and Al perked up - and wanted to know where I found the beautiful music.

Love the lyrics.

Love the melody.

Love Ian's voice.

and I want to know if Stewart knows . . .

You are such a talented gal, Alison. I had no idea you are a poet. Your friend did a really nice job putting music to your words.
