thank you all for the prayers good thoughts and support. It truly helped with this scary and thankfully happy end to this latest development.

yea. Glad to hear it. Now go stock up on popsicles so if she doesn't want to drink you can get fluids in her that way. Fevers really eat up those fluids fast.

Yeah for Sophie!!

I'm not sure how old she is, but one way to get a high fever to come down in a hurry is to put some cotton balls in a Dixie cup and pour rubbing alcohol over them. Inhale deeply for several minutes.....mine, which was just under 104 for several hours and they were waiting on an ambulance to arrive to get me into the hospital, broke in about 20 minutes, right down to 100. It's an herbal thing. Of course, it would not do anything for her dehydration, but it's a good thing to remember!

Another thing that helped get fluids in my kiddos were tiny tea cups and crazy straws.......you just have to do what will work for each child! Glad she is home and better!
