I know there are many prayer warriors on this site. I am asking to please pray for my daughter Mary. We are going north tomorrow to be with her as she undergoes a colonoscopy and several other tests. The doctor called her today and wants her to come in to discuss what she has found so far. The doc would not discuss anything over the phone but wants her in her office. This makes me afraid. Mary is 46 and my "baby". She is not married (except to her job!) and lives alone. We live 600 miles apart. It is difficult. Please pray for a safe trip for us as there is some additional winter weather headed that way. Thanks to all whose prayers I know we will feel. I'll let you know what the doc says.

Allie, I KNEW I was peeking in the forum at this time for a reason. You know you can count on me to pray for Mary. Please be careful on the drive. Call me if I can do anything down here on this end for you? You know that Brosville is in my backyard. Seriously.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about Mary. Please know you'll all be in my thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome. It's so hard when our children live so far from us no matter what their age we worry like heck about them.

I hope all goes well!

I learned from experience w/MM that these days they tell you bad things on the phone. When they told us he had a large tumor on the phone, #1 I was pretty put out...who would do that? #2 we were told to wait and ask questions three days later when we saw the surgeon!!

Well, come to find out, they do that because when you get a diagnosis like that in a doctors office, you tune out everything else, you focus only on the bad news and to lose all train of thought. By telling you a couple days ahead, you resign yourself to it and have written down all your questions and the visit goes much smoother. Once it was explained to me that way, it was much better....after the shock wore off.

I'm sure everything will be fine.

prayers done. Be careful I don"t
know how far you are coming ,but it is supposed to snow. The snow is not supposed to be to deep but it is supposed to be wet and a lot of towns that got hit hard by the blizzard still have roads that might need more plowing so drive safe.
