We are experiencing the worst weather in many years. There are tornadic winds heading right toward my daughter's house. They live in a very old trailer and it won't take much to rip it apart. My DD, SIL and grandbabies live there, so please pray that they will be alright.

Winds here at our house are gusting to 70 mph!

The winds were scary here a couple hours ago. We live in a house 100 years old and the windows all have storm windows, but it was blowing so hard that the inner windows were rattling hard and I wasn't too sure the one in my studio wasn't going to blow out! I'm pretty sure I saw the wicked witch go by!

I saw this storm on the news last night. My prayers are with you and your family, Megan. My DD is in Hermosa Beach, but I think that's too far south to catch the storm.

Thank you all for the prayers. DH and I were sweating bullets last night. Trees are down everywhere, flooding, etc. Wow! DD says the roof stayed on thank goodness. The wind howled like banshee last night. Getting light now so we will be able to see what damage was done. It was so scary watching the radar and seeing this "tornado" heading right toward them. Felt very powerless.

Megan, so glad everyone is okay. It doesn't lessen the fact that tornadoes or straight line winds are the most terrifying weather phenom's on the planet, and no "route", they just hop all over the place!

It looked bad on the news. Prayers sent up for all.

I a more scared of wind than any other force of nature. I know I am late reading this, but sending prayers anyway.

The winds finally died down here sometime in the middle of the night. I had to take half a sleeping aid pill to fall asleep because it was so loud outside. I found out one of my deputies had a branch go thru their roof. Luckily nobody was hurt.

I hope your daughter and her family fared well during the night.
