Last night I lost my husband after a long and brave battle with COPD and other medical problems. He passed at our local VA Palliative Care Unit. I miss him so much already. This Sunday would be his 77th birthday.

GrannyAnn, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dear husband. That he no longer suffers is some relief but I know it also hurts deeply that your companion, confident, love and partner are no longer by your side. We will pale badly in comparison, but please know that we are here for you.
