Can someone to me please what "Grain" means and what "Center edge" is in reference to this pattern piece. I'm making my first tote and boy did I pick a doozie (thanks Lori! :icon_rolleyes: :icon_hi: LOL!) This part of the pattern is in reference to the pocket lining and pocket back...although I'm confused if that means the back pocket or the back of the pocket. :icon_rolleyes: ugh

The grain runs equal to or 90 degrees to the selvage. Either is fine. The center edge, you would place on a fold. You should be able to look at the picture and tell. I only saw it briefly, but I am pretty certain that is what it refers to.

yes, I say the center means on the fold and grain is the weave of the fabric.

Lol Don't blame me. I didn't twist your arm :icon_razz: I just glanced at it so I'll go print the pattern out too.
