I have a serious love for A Cappella music. I also love country. I also LOVE Johnny Cash! So, I just heard this rendition of Ring of Fire done by a relatively new a cappella group called "Home Free" along with a guest singer Avi Kaplan from the Pentatonix a cappella group. Anyway....LOVE the harmonies, beautiful tenors and deep bass! You could almost swear they had instruments playing the percussion, but it was all that good beat boxing! Enjoy! :)

Linda, thanks so much for this! I just loved it. I will subscribe to their YouTube feed. Do you listen to Pentatonix? Love them too. I've always been a big a capella fan (since high school choir days) too. YouTube has really increased their profile, and I'm glad of it. I create playlists for myself and put one on my TV sometimes when I'm sewing. It makes for great background music.

Those guys are great! They won on the show Sing off. I picked them right off!

That is a great recording. I saw it the other day.

One of my all time favorites is this a cappella recording, of Africa. Make sure and have the sound up or you will miss the rain sound at the beginning.

That was really nice Karen.

I went to see when the Sing Off was coming back and it was cancelled. What a bummer, I thought it was so original.

I am laughing . . . but only Karen will understand. Al was gone when I first listened to these and I definitely wanted him to hear the thunderstorm. I told him just to close his eyes and listen and then tell me what he was hearing.

Guess what . . .

BACON FRYING!

Okay, that was the initial - but then he figured out it was rain.

Will there be frying bacon & a Capella at the fall retreat? Quilting, bacon & singing ... sounds so good!

Wow, this is great. Thanks for that tip on Perpetuum Jazzile. Now here's one back at you. Noteworthy Ladies, a capella group at BYU. Enjoy their mashups.

Beautiful, but I hope they had thermal underwear for that video! It looks so cold!

That was awesome...I love acapella music! It bares the true symbol of each note and the tune quality of a song. My family has sang acapella many times over the years......I love this!

No Linda...I wish The Isaacs were my family!!!! They are great...unfortunately, I do not have anything in video format that I could share of my family singing a capella. My Mother has been gone 11 years and no one in the family had the tech equipment to record those special times.....
