We arrived home from Tacoma yesterday. It was wonderful seeing my DD, DGD, SIL, and new DGS. The trip was way too short. Here is baby Kirk with my husband Raymond, and a few from when he was first born.

Oh so precious, congratulations! I love to look in the eyes of grandparents that are holding their grandbabies. It's a great joy that shows through, and you husband has that joyful look. : )

Congratulations! I hope you enjoyed your time here. Did you make it to any shops? At least you escaped before the heat wave!

You must have melted like butter the first time you set eyes on your adorable grandson. Congratulations!

Thank you all. Yes he is wonderful. And melt I did. It was so sweet. Danielle had mastitis when we got there and had a fever of 104 the first three days we were there. Kirk had a touch of colic, and the only person who could bring him any comfort was grandpa.... It was so hard to leave, I cried all the way to Atlanta.

Pat, no I didn't get to any shops, but I did get downtown to the glass museum and our last day there we took DGD to the blueberry park. What a cool place.

Oh my gosh..........at first glance the baby looks like a clone of your DH. Certainly, a lot of family resemblance! He's adorable and I know that you and Raymond will have many hours of joy with the new family addition. Congratulations!
