View Full Version : Repairing Collars of T-shirts

I have a grandson who is 6 and always chews on the front of his shirts. It's an unconscious behavior and he doesn't realize he's doing it. Unfortunately it's wrecking the collars. Is there any way I can do something to reinforce these shirts that they won't tear?

File his teeth down? :icon_rolleyes:

I am thinking since you said t-shirts you mean the ribbing around the neck? I'm not sure you can reinforce that since it has to be able to stretch enough to go over his head and then shrink back in so the neck isn't all saggy. Even if you could somehow feed some interfacing into it, he could still chew through that just as easily.

This might sound inhumane but
