Haha! Jeez, I just ran out to the store for milk and creamer and you are starting another project???

You need to ask one of the girls that are always making bags ...

What do you think of this one? Clutch Handbag Sewing Pattern + Tutorial | Positively Splendid {Crafts, Sewing, Recipes and Home Decor} (http://www.positivelysplendid.com/2012/12/handbag-clutch-sewing-pattern.html)

I haven't made a clutch before, but this one seems fairly straightforward.

Can you send me some of your energy? :)

LOL! It's all fake energy and menopause unfortunately! LOL!

Dangit! I forgot to post a pic of what I have in mind...here it is...will likely just do a handle to match either the piping or the inside fabric which is showing a bit on the front but not sure I will do it that way. If I'd had interfacing I'd have it half finished by now! That pattern might just work!! TANKS!! :icon_hug:... ::

80350 P.S. it's also going to be covered in the same chiffon that is on my dress. I have spare coming!

I have made this wristlet....very easy and goes together quickly. Don't know if I took a pic or not... if so I'll post it in a few mins.

This one is adorable and you could easily attach a wrist strap to it. The directions are in Chinese but the measurements are in metric. Looks like a pretty straight forward tutorial. ?????????????????????????????????????-??? - ???????????????????? (http://www.digu.com/pin/5aypBjxrtexdl)

I made one in FIVE MINUTES! I went to the dollar store and bought a fabric placemat. I had tried one from Target but the dollar store one worked better because it was a tad smaller ( 12" x 18" instead of 13 x 19) and was stiffer so had more "body."

Turn the placemat so it's a vertical rectangle, not horizontal as on a table. Fold the bottom up and the top down. Since there is cardboard or some other stiff substance in between the layers of fabric, you may have to push on the crease a bit. Now stitch up the sides. Fold the top down so it overlaps a couple of inches. Use Super-Glue to attach a little Velcro square as a closure, then put a decorative button or brooch on the outside. Viola!

This is not the tutorial I used, but it's the same idea: DIY Clutch: Cheap & Easy | Everything Home (http://everything-home.usstoragesearch.com/uncategorized/diy-clutch-cheap-easy/)

Oh! One thing to remember - switch to a large (size 14 or so) machine needle - you're going through some heavy stuff.

Have fun, and post pics!
