Liam wants to wear his tuxedo pants for his gr. six graduation. ugh. They are 2.75 inches too long. I have NEVER done a blind hem!

Does it have to be done by hand? Does anyone have a good tutorial??

TIA everyone! xox

You can do it by hand or there is foot for it. I'll go look.

Here is for the foot.

go through this list and see if anything looks easy. you will have to cut them, so make sure you know what you are doing. I don't think it is toooo expensive to have them done at a dry cleaners. You might call around and ask prices.

OR, cut them, and use fusible-iron on hem tape....
He'll probably never wear them again!

I agree with Sue. I would use a pinking shears, cut off, iron on hem tape and you are set to go. IT's about $15 to have a pair of pants hemmed here....far easier to do it yourself.

Eh, just roll them up inside the pant leg.

I can tell you the blind hem on a machine is easy to do. The confusing part is folding the fabric. I had to practice on scraps so I had a good example to look at before I did the actual project. If you have the foot for your machine, I encourage you to try it. You will be very pleased with your efforts! I wanted to knock myself in the head for being afraid of it. You can do it!
