I am new to quilting and love the daily deals here and videos. Does anyone know of a site like this for regular sewing? Like sewing clothes and what not.

There is one for questions you may have or to offer answers to others that is very helpful.Pattern Review.

Professor Pincussion
https://www.professorpincushion.com/

She does "general sewing" which includes a little quilting but mostly garment making. She has some excellent free videos and what I imagine are equally spectacular paid videos. The forum on her website is not nearly as active as this one though.

Many of the people who post here also do general sewing outside of their quilt making. If you have specific questions you could ask here.

Hello-I do both quilting and have sewn clothing and everything else that uses fabric for over 40 years. How did we get along without the internet?
One site I like is Artisan's Square (http://artisanssquare.com). Lots of great info there!
Another is Everything Sewing ? Index page (http://everythingsewingforum.net).
And here is one I have to check out, as I have enjoyed SewMamaSew for some time now. Their new group is here: Join The Sewing Room! | Sew Mama Sew | (http://www.sewmamasew.com/join-the-sewing-room).
As for daily deals, several online fabric shops offer free shipping, sales and clearnace, etc. Google fabric and a ton of goodies come up.

Hi, Audy, and welcome to the best forum on the Net!

There are bound to be lots of great forums out there for "regular sewing,"

but surely nothing as awesome as this one, because this is the only one with all of us!
