Thanks so much for telling us about this tutorial!! I've been doing my binding on the machine for the last few quilts, and I love it! Her tips and technique will definitely help me out, and it's a terrific tutorial!

This is a great tutorial. I usually hand stitch the binding as I enjoy the relaxing feeling I get from it, but I may try this technique on a baby quilt I am soon starting! Thank you, Wicked for posting and Jenny for doing.

Great tutorial, as always! I just ordered a new sewing maching with lots more stitches than my current model has. I can't wait to try out some of them on a binding.

Greetings from London! I am brand new to quilting and nearly finished my very first patchwork quilt, complete with borders. Ready to do binding and will certainly use this machine method. Everything I've learned so far has been from the tutorials so thank you. Have also ordered some bits and pieces from MSQC eagerly waiting for the post! Thank you so much for all the tutorials - much better than a book!

                            Re: NEW TUTORIAL ON YOUTUBE

I watched Jenny's tutorial and even though I've been doing bindings like this for a while, I still felt like I needed a refresher course and this was it! I'm working on several baby quilt panels for a charity project and think I came up with a tip of that might be useful to others. After I sewed the binding to the underside of the panels and tried flipping the binding to the front, I found that the batting and fabric seemed to be puffed up, think it was because the layers were stitched 1/4" from the edge. I didn't want to trim down the batting and fabric because it would make the binding edge seem thin and not like the rest of the quilt. But I still was having trouble turning the binding over neatly and getting the fabric/batting covered. Then it occurred to me to try zigzagging the edge to press together the layers and it worked. My binding never looked better! I know, it was one more step but when you want things to look nice it's worth it!!! Jenny's video and the zigzag stitch did a fanstatic job. Chris
