As I go to bed last night, I kindly ask -

Will you make sure I am up and about by 1000? I have my haircut at 1100.

Yes, says MM.

After a good nights sleep (for him!), in he comes to wake me.

Time to get up!!! Rise and shine!

I open one eye quite tired and ask if it's already 1000.

No! says MM. It's 0900! You said you wanted to be up by 1000.

I'll trade you one DH who gets up between 4:30 and 5:00 am every morning and makes enough noise to wake the dead.

If only I could sleep in that late! I'd have to go to bed at 2:00 a.m. and hope I'd stay asleep that long.

if I sleep past 5 thats late for me . I am up at 4 am every morning work or not. Staying in bed longer gives me a miserable headache that doesn't shake all day. Even going to bed at 2am I would be up at 4 or 5. might be able to take a nap but only 1/2 to 1 hour or the afore mentioned headache comes. Good thing I don't require a lot of sleep
