I love it! Sounds like I'm not the only one who's dining table is never clear of quilting stuff. I bought another table with pullout leaves but there's still not enough room!

I just told my DH about this and he got a very good laugh and I caught him looking towards the dining room table where my Babylock sits with a queen size quilt (well - I needed a BIG table didn't I) and even the ironing board set up next to it to hold part of the quilt.

LOL You made my day! Not only the table, but the corners of the room and all the chairs hold my thread basket, rulers, cutters etc.

                      Re: Had to share

We use are kitchen table to eat at. The dining room table has always been my work area whether it be school work or quilting. The only time it gets ate at is when we have big family dinners. (then all the leaves get put in it) It currently has the large cutting mat, iron, water bottle for the iron, two stacks of Irish Chain 9 patches, and a fresh bouquet of flowers from my husband. Two of the chairs have quilting stuff - one is a mini charm pack quilt waiting to get quilted and the other has 3 outside pieces for tote bags waiting to get finished.
