It's very cute Patrice, sadly short of buying the book I don't have the pattern. It looks like there may be paper piecing in that block, there are some odd angles that could be difficult with normal piecing.

Thank you for the thought though, I have found some other pictures of dragonflies in quilts that I have saved with the thought of doing something.

I saw your earlier post, and remembered a pattern I saw while on a quilt shop hop that was a dragonfly in stained glass. It was a simple applique done with iron on product placed on a black background. Leaving space between the colored pieces makes the black fabric look like the lead in the stained glass. Here is a website that has some. Hope it gives you some inspiration.

Thankyou, I like the stained glass quilts and those patterns are cute...I liked some of the other stuff at that store as well. ;) I really must make some time to do something for myself, one day.
