Quilts of Love (http://freshfiction.com/series.php?id=738)

I was just cleaning up my inbox and noticed an email about a Quilt of Love novel and it led to this website.

Just wondering if anyone has read any of these books and if so, are they good reads?

I'm going to see if my library has any of them.

Well, library has the first two anyway. I put in a request on them. If anyone is interested I will let you know if they are good reads.

I checked my library catalog and there are 3 of them. Look like good books. Some have Amish themes with a mystery. Let me know if they are good.

There was a group started here that were reading The Elm Creek Quilters by Jennifer Chavinelli( or some such name). The leader of the group got sick, so I'm not sure it is still a group you can join. They seemed to be enjoying the books.

Vonnie, Please share your thoughts about the books after you've read them. I belong to a quilt/book small group within my guild and would like to recommend us reading a quilt novel again. We did read a few when our group first started but haven't done so the past year or two.

I think our first book was a Bennie Harper mystery and we each made a quilt from something within the novel that inspired us. I made one with cowboy boots, ten gallon hats and card trick blocks and called it Cowboys and Cardsharks as some of the main characters played no holds barred polka.
