I wanted to be a part of Jenny's Pinterest that I saw in the Blog, so I ended up signing up to pinterest and have no idea what I'm suppose to do. Still don't know how to connect with her blog so that I can make comments of some of the things I would like to comment on.
Do you just post your own pictures (like quilts you've done)? Or What?
How do you find things to pin and how do I pin it to the site that I've opened (if that's where it's suppose to be)?

OK, bottom line! How does it work?

Hi Coleen,

Here is the pinterest basic how-to page: http://about.pinterest.com/basics/

In the upper left corner of pinterest, there is a search bar - type in there something you are looking for. When you see a picture that you like, click it to open it larger, then press pin. I've never uploaded a picture like the basics say to do - I only repin.

Oh, and follow me on pinterest! My addy is in my signature line below.

Coleen, be sure to "follow" as many people as you can so that your "feed" is always full of interesting things. Whenever you see something you like and you pin it, you will also have a chance to follow the person who pinned it before you. (Just hit the "Follow" button.) You can follow me if you like at

By the way, I pin my own quilts as well as photos of others. I have a blog that I link from, but I think you can probably pin by uploading a photo even if you don't have a website to link back to.

Be patient and read the help section at Pinterest. You'll catch on quickly.

WALK AWAY NOW. Don't read ANY of the comments. SAVE YOURSELF! Oh, Never mind, they have already told you what to do. You are doomed...like the rest of us! I stay far away, because when I DO open it up, someone fast-forwards my clock a few hours!

Well, it's still a puzzle, but maybe it will make sense some day. I was able to pin a few quilts though.
