It was a nice trip! That Jenny is in Las Vegas! She and Natalie are out there teaching! That's so exciting.

But, I love visiting the shop and talking to the girls too... shop girls! Woot!

I love this little treasure they are selling now... It's a replica of their Logo/sign that hang outside the store.

The girls were so nice today, and we visited a bit since the shop was not as busy as other times I have been in.
They are standing in the Christmas section. LOTS of nice Christmas fabrics to be had at M*!!

Ohhhh Sooooooo Pretty!

My treasures for today... pillow case fabrics, a template, charm pack and a pattern! The pattern was free.

Oh... They have changed things around since I was there last, they are now housing the old Library for quilting until the new warehouse is ready which is going to be in a new building they bought across from the Sleep N Sew, and will house the "Civil War and Primitives" ... all just down the street from this shop that houses all this fabric!! The larger customer service is where the quilting was being done.

I had personal tour guide today, and saw all five buildings! Oh and they now have an "Evening Shift" to fill orders I believe.

They can fill our DD purchases right away as soon as we order at midnight!

It sounds like M* is not only the largest employer, but also the largest landowner. Congratulations to the Doans!

Now, why aren't the aprons on those girls covered in fabric lint??? My clothes look like lint catchers whenever I'm working with fabric but mostly when opening packages of jelly rolls and charm packs or layer cakes!!!!!

Glad you had a great time and got such individual attention. And, hey, a road trip to Vegas to see our M* stars sounds like a wonderful time to me!

Love all the pics....Thanks for that! I had noticed the pink logo thing on the website, but I don't get it. What can we do with that?

It's made of iron, so you could hang it outside on your porch, or inside on your quilt room wall.

The aprons? (you asked?) Jenny told me when I saw her last they are getting them in the shop to buy. So, YOU TOO can have your very own! Soon!

Jenny is in VEGAS??
SHUT UP!
This may have been my ONLY tease, to get my DH to TRAVEL for quilting. He LOVES Vegas.

Me? Not so much.

I'd go in a NY minute for a seminar with Jenny and Natalie!

So just what are the laws in Hamilton, MO for gaming? Specifically, video poker.
(That'll keep him busy!....)
I think a gentleman's club should be in the works, for this Disneyland of Quilting. Many flat screen TVs, and a couple of kegs of beer. That should shut 'em up! For awhile...

What will the DH's do?

I need an advanced notice of any future Las Vegas gigs, I'm thinking.....

I love your trips to the shop. What line is that charm pack? Your fabric choices are great.
