After four weeks of riding a scooter while wearing the oh-so-sexy black boot
Two weeks of walking with crutches while utilizing the unyielding hard-soled black boot
and Two more weeks of hobbling about in the dreadful black boot...

Yay! Now, just don't go crazy and overdo. All I can remember is how stinkin' bad it hurt when I pulled the achilles tendon after being in cast/crutches/brace etc. fo 8 weeks then being so happy to walk and did too much.

Sadly, I have been told, by my doc, that I may not climb mountains, ride a bike across country, or engage in a bout of kick boxing.

If you could see how chubby I've gotten, you'd realize I'm not in danger of any of that. I am, however, going to the fair on the weekend and will spend hours walking around. That is allowed.
