Hi

I have made this dish several times, ( excluding the chili) and it is very good.

Looks very interesting! I'll bet it is good, but I doubt I could get my family to try it, very few fish lovers.

I love fish, but not sure about fish pie. It just doesn't sound right.

Does sound and look very good, might be an ideal dish for when the gals are over for lunch.

I love Jamie Oliver. He is so fun to watch. This is like a shepards pie. I don't eat red meat or pork so I might have a go at this one

Forgot to say Thanks! I'm going to subscribe to his channel. I miss him on the food network.

I would love that. We are big fish eaters. Thank you Annika!

Huh! Never heard of fish pie. Sounds interesting! My dh and I love fish, but the kids aren't huge fans. I might need to try it sometime though. Maybe the word "pie" will make fish more appealing to them. LOL!

Fish gratin or Fish pie is very common here in Sweden.

you can put anything wiht the fish , almost,

Cod and dill and lemon is very good

I happen to like Jamies approch beacuse it is easy to make. You just grate everything and mix it and put it in the oven.

One of my favourite recipes - I use whiting, smoked fish, barramundi and prawns for mine - salmon is very expensive here. I also leave out the chili but sometimes add a few halved hard boiled eggs

Now, being a Newfie, I've eaten my fair share of fish. I've even eaten fish cakes! But a fish pie? I'm not sure how I feel about that... lol

It's just called 'pie' because it has a 'crust' of potatoes on top.
